How can I speak to someone at Nature's Harvest?

What's the difference between all the ranges?
Original: This is our longest serving product range. It's wet food made with different protein sources such as chicken, duck, turkey, lamb and ocean fish blended with brown rice, vegetables and botanical herbs.
Grain Free: This was introduced for those dogs that may be sensitive to grains. Based on the wet food formula we use for the Original range, we swap out the brown rice and replace it with sweet potato.
Mixer: This is a hypoallergenic dry kibble that can be added to the Original and Grain Free ranges to boost fibre and prebiotics. Great for aiding sensitive digestive systems.
Raw made easy: This is a cold pressed dry kibble. A blend of chicken or fish, sweet potatoes, pure vegetables and botanical herbs gently pressed at low temperatures preserving the integrity and nutritional values of all the ingredients. As convenient as dry food and as nutritious as raw. Raw feeding without the fuss!
Why do you include salmon oil in your recipes?
We use salmon oil to promote beautiful skin and glossy coats. It's also a great source of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
What are omega 3 and 6 fatty acids?
These are found in all balanced and optimal diets and are called essential fatty acids. They have a number of health benefits which include aiding in healthy cell renewal and maintaining optimum brain and nerve function.
Why do you use glucosamine and chondroitin?
For the same reasons humans take it! Glucosamine and chondroitin are natural anti-inflammatories and aid in joint mobility.
Do you use any artificial colours or preservatives in your recipes?
The simple answer is no! All Nature's Harvest products are 100% natural and hypoallergenic.
What size are your products available in?
The Original and Grain Free ranges come in boxes of 10 trays. Each tray weighs 395g. The Hypoallergenic Mixer comes in either 3kg or 10kg bags. The 'Raw Made Easy' Cold Pressed dog food is available in 1kg bags.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Our products have a shelf life of between 12 and 18 months depending on which range you choose.
What are the benefits of feeding Nature's Harvest?
Nature's Harvest is hypoallergenic and 100% natural so suitable for even the most sensitive digestive systems. Our wet food is made in small batches with fully traceable ingredients and everything is made here in the UK to the highest manufacturing standards.
Which Nature's Harvest product is best for my dog?
Within the Original, Grain Free, Hypoallergenic Mixer and Raw Made Easy ranges, there's a Nature's Harvest product that will suit the unique requirements of your dog. If you are moving from a different wet food and your dog does not have a sensitive stomach, then the Original range with the Hypoallergenic Mixer would be suitable. For dogs that have slightly more sensitive stomachs but are used to wet formulas, the Nature's Harvest Grain Free range coupled with a sprinkling of Hypoallergenic Mixer would be a perfect food. For those dogs that are used to raw feeding, home-cooked meals or BARF diets or have tried everything but still suffer from digestive problems, our Raw Made Easy range might just be the answer for you. This is a densely rich protein food which is the easiest to digest and the closest to raw feeding in a kibble, fuss free format. If you would like to discuss your requirements with us, please feel free to contact us.
How much should I feed my dog?
Feeding guidelines differ for each range and each product within that range. All feeding guidelines are clearly marked on the product packaging, or on the product pages on the Nature's Harvest website, or you can scan the QR code on the product packaging which will take you straight to information page of the product you have bought.
Do I need to supplement my dog's diet with other food?
Unless you are using the Hypoallergenic Mixer, the answer is 'no'! All Nature's Harvest products, with the exception of the Hypoallergenic Mixer, are complete formulations which supply all the essential nutrients for your dog's health and vitality and do not require any supplementation with other food.
Should I add water to the dry kibble?
It's totally up to you! If your dog finds things hard to chew then moistening the dry and Raw Made Easy ranges with a little tepid water will make it a little easier for your dog. However you choose to feed, always make clean water available for your dog.
How many times a day should I feed my dog?
The daily feeding amount may be spread over as many feeds as you and your dog want. As a general rule however, we recommend two daily feeds, one in the morning and one in the evening. It's a little different for puppies so please study the relevant feeding guidelines of the specific Nature's Harvest puppy food you are feeding. These can be found on the website.
